Turn big ambitions into goals with milestones, and watch progress fill in as you complete them.
Go to Journey in the main navigation and select the Goals tab.
Use the “+ New Goal” button, or start from a template if you want a worked example.
Give it a specific title — “Learn to play guitar”, “Run a 5K”, “Save $5,000”. Set a Category and a Priority of High, Medium or Low.
The “Why does this matter to you?” field is what your companion quotes back on the hard days. There is also “who you are becoming” for the person behind the goal, and an evidence field for something you could point at — not a percentage.
Add milestone steps with “Add goal”. Progress is calculated from the milestones you complete, so the goal moves only when real work does.
Check off each milestone as you finish it, or ask your companion to mark it done.
Life Navigation Lessons — the 🧭 item in Journey's side panel — has a whole module on goals: goals vs wishes, choosing what not to pursue, goals that conflict, outcome and process goals, this week's action, measuring progress honestly, persistence or stubbornness, and letting a goal go. The links under your goals open it.
Open Set goals and track milestones in the app (sign-in required).
