Write up your research in the Notebook

Sections from research question to future work, plus which claims your writing rests on.

Step 1: Open a project and choose Notebook

Ten sections, from Research question through Methodology and Results to Future research.

Step 2: Write in any order

Click a section and type. It saves when you click away. Sections you have written show a dot; empty ones are simply quieter, never flagged.

Step 3: Record the claims you depend on

Type a statement your argument rests on, then click the papers that support it.

Step 4: Run the integrity check

At the bottom it lists any claim with no source attached. Some will be your own argument, which is fine — the point is knowing which are which.

Step 5: Export the whole draft

"Export as Markdown" gives you every written section plus a BibTeX reference list, ready to paste into Word, Google Docs or LaTeX.
