Each investor relationship gets one workspace — messages, documents, requests, meetings and history — with your Data Room as the only store.
In Founder mode, go to Data Room and upload your documents into folders. A changed document gets a new version beside the old one, with a note on what changed — nothing is overwritten.
In the Deal Room, Relationships lists every investor you have a conversation, request or investment with. Open one to see its Overview, Messages, Documents, Requests, Meetings and Activity, with the one next step that is waiting and whose move it is.
On Documents, your Data Room is listed with this investor’s access beside each file. Share or Stop sharing asks you to confirm and takes effect at once. A request never shares anything by itself. Public documents can be opened by investors you are in a Deal Room with; Hidden ones by nobody.
Requests from either side read Open, Acknowledged, In progress, Answered, Needs clarification, Completed, Declined or Withdrawn. Acknowledge, answer with words or documents, or decline with a reason. A conversation request from the marketplace is declined privately — they only see Not taken forward.
Prepare a reply with MFJ drafts a message from what is in this relationship. It opens as a draft card showing who receives it, what it uses and what it would share; nothing is sent until you press Confirm & Send.
On Meetings, schedule a meeting, prepare an agenda, then close it with notes. MFJ suggests outcomes that point to your notes; you choose which commitments to keep, and they join your RUN queue.
When an investor records an investment, you confirm or dispute it in the relationship. A claim is never shown as confirmed until you confirm it.
