Monitor your portfolio and run portfolio reviews

Watch each company for funding, leadership, customers and regulation; see developments by category; follow up on asks; and prepare a quarterly review.

Step 1: Set what to watch

Monitoring lets you add a rule per company: the topics (funding, acquisitions, leadership, customers, regulatory, product, hiring, news and more) and how often to check — daily, weekly, monthly, or "as it happens" for funding, leadership and regulatory news.

Step 2: Read alerts by category

Alerts are grouped as Action, Update, Change, Research and Reminder, each marked Needs attention, Worth reviewing or Informational — words, never a score. Every alert says why you are seeing it.

Step 3: Look at developments

Events lists what monitoring found and what happened on the platform, newest first. Research this development opens a filled-in research form; you decide whether to run it.

Step 4: Follow up on what founders asked

Help shows asks from updates that are not tracked yet, the requests you are working on, and promises you made with their dates. Nothing is sent to a founder for you.

Step 5: Run a portfolio review

Reviews prepares a review from your records in eight steps — what changed, figures, asks, risks, milestones, then vs now, lessons and next actions — for the period you choose. You write the conclusions; it is saved to your history.

Step 6: Ask the companion

Ask "What changed across my portfolio this month?", "Which founders asked for help?", "Which companies have gone quiet?" or "Prepare my quarterly portfolio review". These are answered from your own records and name where each fact came from.
