Build your hiring team and approvals

Invite teammates with a role, say who owns each step, and require approval before offers or chosen messages go out.

Step 1: Open Hiring Team

In Hiring mode, open Hiring Team under COMPANY in the sidebar (/hiring-team). Its tabs are Team, Who owns what, Approvals, Activity and Access.

Step 2: Invite someone

Press Invite team member. Enter their name and email, choose a role — Hiring Admin, Hiring Manager, Recruiter, Coordinator, Interviewer or Viewer, each with what it can do listed — and whether they see all roles or only the ones you give them. MyFullJourney does not email invitations: copy the link and send it yourself. It works only for that email address and expires in 14 days. If they already use MyFullJourney they also see it in their notifications.

Step 3: Say who owns what

In Who owns what — or in a role's Hiring Room, in the Hiring team card — set the hiring manager, recruiter, coordinator and interviewers, and who reviews applications, schedules interviews, prepares offers, handles sourcing and makes the final decision, plus required and optional reviewers. You can copy the team from another role. In Needs You, Assign gives any action an owner and a due date; it never closes the action — that still follows your records.

Step 4: Require approvals

In Approvals, set the policy: offers, and the kinds of prepared candidate messages you choose, can need approval from the role's hiring manager, any Hiring Admin, or a person you name. With it on, MyFullJourney refuses to send without that approval, and if the terms change after someone approved, the approval expires and is asked for again. The approver sees what, why, who asked and what will happen, and can Approve & send, Request changes or not approve. Reminders and a backup approver are optional — escalation tells people, it never moves the decision.

Step 5: Discuss inside the team

Every role, candidate and interview has a Team discussion with replies, resolve and @mentions. It is always internal — anything a candidate should read goes through messages. A decision owner can record their decision there; you carry it out in the pipeline.

Step 6: What teammates can open

Teammates work in My hiring work: their roles, assigned interviews, approvals and mentions. Your Pipeline, Applications and Offer pages stay yours. Nothing on these pages measures or compares the people on your team. Ask Copilot "Who is holding up this role?" to see who each open item is with.
