Research role requirements, public pay, competitors, interview practice, where to find talent, how your job compares and your hiring market — every finding cited and dated.
In Hiring mode, open Hiring Research (/hiring-research) under AGENTS. Choose what to find out: Role research, Compensation research, Competitor hiring, Interview practice, Where to find this talent, Calibrate a role, or Our hiring market.
Each kind asks for a few fields — a role, a location, a seniority, company names, or one of your jobs. MyFullJourney writes the searches itself and reads current public sources. Hiring Research looks at roles, markets, companies and skills, never at individual people.
Each finding says what the sources say and names them (S1, S2…) so you can open each one. An evidence label says how well it is supported: Strong evidence, Multiple sources, Limited evidence, Conflicting sources or Old information. A statement whose sources did not support it — such as a number no source contained — is left out, and the report says how many were.
What this could mean for your hiring is MFJ’s own reading, labelled as an interpretation and never presented as something a source said. Sources differ shows where they disagree — nothing is averaged. What could not be found lists the gaps.
Every source shows its site, a label (Primary source, Industry source, Community signal or Web page), when it was published if it says so, and when it was read. An undated page says Date not stated rather than being treated as current.
Suggested actions can add a line to a role’s hiring plan, start an interview set in your Interview Library, or save a sourcing idea — each shows exactly what it adds and waits for you to confirm. Suggested job wording is for you to copy; MFJ never edits a live job.
Save to Library keeps the report in your Library’s Research view; Save on a finding keeps that finding with its sources. The same research within 24 hours opens the earlier report — Refresh research runs it again and shows what changed. Track this market sets up a weekly or monthly research monitor that tells you only when something meaningful changed.
Ask Copilot on a finding opens Hiring Copilot with that finding. A market question like “Is our salary range competitive?” gets an honest answer that it needs current market information, your latest research if you have some, and a button to research it — Copilot never searches on its own.
