Work with Hiring Copilot

Ask about roles and candidates from your own records; let it prepare messages and briefs you confirm.

Step 1: Open Hiring Copilot

On any hiring page the AI button at the bottom right reads Hiring Copilot. It opens beside the page (full screen on a phone) and shows what it is looking at: Across hiring, a role’s Hiring Room, or one candidate. The Hiring Room and a candidate’s page also have a Summarize with Copilot button.

Step 2: Start from a suggestion

The empty panel offers questions for the page you are on — on the dashboard, what needs your attention and which roles are falling behind; on the Interviews page, which feedback is missing; on a candidate, a summary, what has not been assessed and interview questions, tuned to their stage. The strip above the box keeps the same shortcuts at hand.

Step 3: Check what it is using

Context lists what Copilot reads for this page — the job, the hiring plan, applications, interviews, written feedback, hiring activity — and what it never uses: journal, health, finance and habits. It reads only what you can already see in Hiring Mode, as you.

Step 4: Read the answer, the evidence, the next step

Each answer leads with one line, then the evidence — every line links to the candidate, role or interview it came from — then one next action. Open “Why am I seeing this?” to see the fact behind it, such as an interview that finished yesterday with no feedback written.

Step 5: Ask what you don’t know yet

On a candidate, ask “What have we not assessed yet?”. Copilot compares your hiring plan’s must-haves and round criteria with what interviewers actually rated, and lists what is not mentioned in anything the candidate shared — as questions to ask, not conclusions. Without a hiring plan it says so.

Step 6: Let it prepare work

Ask for an interview invitation, a scheduling reminder, an application update, a follow-up after an interview, or an interview brief with questions aimed at what is still open. Edit it, regenerate it or discard it. A message is sent only when you choose Confirm & Send.

Step 7: Confirm small updates

Copilot can save someone to your Talent Pool with your own note, or mark an interview as held or a no-show. It shows exactly what will change and nothing changes until you confirm. Each confirmed change shows in your hiring activity, and the record keeps what Copilot prepared beside what you approved.

Step 8: The decision stays yours

Ask “who should I hire?” and Copilot shows the evidence and what is still unresolved — never a choice, a score, a rank or a prediction. It keeps no memory of its own about candidates: every answer re-reads your current records.
