Understand how your hiring is performing

Hiring Analytics: speed, the funnel, sources, waiting, bottlenecks and your hiring story — and what to do next.

Step 1: Open Analytics

In Hiring mode, open Analytics under COMPANY in the sidebar (/hiring-analytics). Choose a time period, a role and a source at the top — periods are rolling (This month is the last 30 days) and every comparison is with the same number of days just before. The choices stay in the address, so a filtered view can be bookmarked.

Step 2: Read the Overview

Hiring at a glance shows active roles, applications, interviews, offers and hires, with what changed from the previous period. Your hiring story says in one line how hiring is moving and what is holding it up, with one thing to do. Hiring bottlenecks lists where work is waiting — each with the evidence, why it matters, the candidates or roles affected, and a way out: open the page, create an automation, or Ask Copilot. Worth a closer look gives Finding, Evidence, Possible reason (only when your records show one; otherwise it says there is not enough evidence) and Action.

Step 3: Go deeper by tab

Speed: time to hire, time to fill, time to book an interview and time in each stage, with who is waiting on you kept apart from who you are waiting on. Conversion: the funnel counts who REACHED each stage — click a step for the time between steps, the roles and sources involved and who is there now. Sourcing: one source per application (employee referral, network vouch, invited by you, Talent Pool, applied on MFJ Jobs) and your sourcing campaigns. Candidate experience, Interviews (operations, and the interview team listed A–Z), Offers, Roles (per-role table with Needs attention in words), and Team.

Step 4: Trust the numbers

Every figure has a definition behind its ⓘ and says what it is based on. A percentage appears only on a base of 20 or more, and anything under 10 says Small sample — interpret carefully. Times in a stage count movements since stage history began to be recorded, and the page says from when. If part of your data could not load, it is named instead of being shown as zero.

Step 5: Reports, export and alerts

Reports & alerts holds the weekly hiring report (print or save as PDF), Save as report (a period, role, source and which sections), and CSV export — counts only, never names or contact details. Alerts: set Role open more than X days and it becomes a Hiring Action in Needs You; waiting candidates, late feedback and offer deadlines are set up as automations with the threshold filled in. Headline counts are free; the diagnosis — bottlenecks, story, the deeper tabs, reports and export — is Pro.

Step 6: What it never shows

Analytics measures your hiring process. It never rates a candidate, guesses who will accept or succeed, compares the people on your team, or holds demographic information about anyone.
