Research something current and find opportunities, with sources

Ask a question that needs current information, see every source and MFJ's reading kept apart, and keep a private radar of opportunities.

Step 1: Open Research & Opportunities

Go to /research-assistant. Ask is for a question that needs current information.

Step 2: Check what will be searched

Before it runs you see its purpose and the exact assumptions it will search with, and you can change them. Questions about your own records are answered from your records and never sent to web research.

Step 3: Read the result

What sources say is kept apart from MFJ's reading. Each finding has a quoted passage and a link, with why it matters, what is uncertain and where sources disagree.

Step 4: Use your radar

Radar holds opportunities found for you. It is private, never public. Each one shows its source, a deadline only if the page states it, eligibility only in the page's own words, and anything that could not be confirmed, such as a fee.

Step 5: Watch for new opportunities

Watching lets you opt in to weekly or monthly checks on a topic. Nothing is checked unless you set it up.

Step 6: Review and adjust

History keeps your past research. Settings holds the assumptions you reuse, sites you have muted and your weekly allowance.
