People Tools — plan, find the words, follow up

A keep-in-touch planner, a message builder and an after-an-event capture, all from your own records.

Step 1: Open People and select Tools

Go to People and select Tools under Grow. Each card says the question it answers, and the academy’s tools are listed there too.

Step 2: Plan who to reach

The keep-in-touch planner lists everyone you track by how long since you last logged being in touch — longest first — a date order, not an order of who matters. From each person: note that you were in touch, plan a follow-up date, find the words, or prepare.

Step 3: Find the words

The message builder turns a few lines you write into a draft: raise something hard, say no, apologise, get back in touch, follow up after meeting someone, say thank you, or give feedback. Edit it, copy it, or polish it with your companion. Nothing is sent for you.

Step 4: After an event

Write down the people you just met — a name, how you’d describe them, one thing to remember, and when to follow up. Saving adds them to My Network, with the follow-up on My Calendar.

Step 5: Nothing saves on its own

Every write is a button you press. Each tool links to the lessons behind it.

Open People Tools — plan, find the words, follow up in the app (sign-in required).
