Get work prepared across your company with workflows and automations

Say what you want done — a launch, your week, follow-ups, fundraising, a cleanup — and MFJ prepares proposed actions you approve one by one.

Step 1: Open the Automation Center

In Founder mode, open RUN THE COMPANY in the sidebar and choose Automation Center. Or ask your companion — “Prepare my launch”, “Clean up my overdue commitments”.

Step 2: Start a workflow

On Workflows, type what you want done or pick a workflow: Run my week, Prepare my launch, sales follow-ups, fundraising preparation, investor follow-up, clean up, prepare a meeting, meeting notes → outcomes, a customer conversation → work, marketing, research review. Choose Prepare now, or Run in background and the bell tells you when it is ready.

Step 3: Review what it prepared

The review shows what MFJ read, what it found, and every proposed action with its class (Read, Prepare, Write, External) and what it will do: where, using what, what changes, who sees it and whether it can be undone.

Step 4: Approve all, some, or edit

Approve all, Approve selected, Edit titles and dates, or Cancel. A step that depends on another shows Blocked by until that one is approved, and its date never lands before the step it depends on.

Step 5: Answer a checkpoint

Some workflows stop to ask — for example which customer segment to start with. The steps after it wait for your choice.

Step 6: Send only when you choose

Messages to investors or customers are drafts you copy. Sending from MFJ works only in an existing Deal Room conversation, only when Can send external communications is on in Permissions, and it asks you again with the exact text before anything is sent.

Step 7: See what happened

After applying, the run shows Completed, Failed (with the reason and Try again) and Needs your input. Undo removes or restores what a step changed. History lists every run with what it read, prepared, and what you confirmed or turned down.

Step 8: Automate it

Templates prepare work when something happens (a new customer, a new investor, a finished report or experiment, a new meeting, an investor request or investor activity) or on a schedule (every Monday, every Friday, monthly, every 30 days, quarterly). Pause, change the time or delete each one in Active. Every run still waits for your review.

Step 9: Set what the agent may do

Permissions has Can create drafts, Can create internal records, Can schedule, Can send external communications, Can publish and Can access sensitive areas. Sending, publishing and sensitive areas are off by default.
