OKRs
Objectives (what you want) paired with Key Results (the measurable evidence you got it).
Example
Objective: make onboarding effortless. KR: activation within 24 hours rises from 31% to 55%.
Important
A key result with no number is an objective wearing a disguise. Three objectives at most, or none of them are priorities.

Lessons that explain it

- Managing yourself first — Before you manage anyone, you have to manage the only resource that is genuinely fixed: your own attention. (12 min)
- Delegation — Handing over an outcome with the authority to decide how. Handing over tasks while keeping every decision is just queueing. (12 min)
- Setting expectations — Most performance problems are expectation problems. People rarely fail at a job they clearly understood. (10 min)
- OKRs and KPIs — KPIs are the dials you watch. OKRs are what you are trying to change this quarter. Confusing them turns planning into reporting. (12 min)
- The north star metric — One number that only improves when customers genuinely benefit. Choosing it badly points the whole company at the wrong thing. (10 min)
